Missions et objectifs

GRACARO is a charitable organisation who aim is to:

1. To identify orphans, widows and other destitute persons in rural communities and empower them economically through material support, sensitization and basic training in order for them to sustain their lives;
2. To promote programs aimed at addressing the social and moral needs of the less privileged class in rural areas, help delinquent youths correct their offending behavior and rehabilitate them through moral education, gospel values and skills that will enable them to be morally upright and self reliant;
3. To advocate and promote the rights of marginalized persons, gender equality and enhance the education and rights of women and children and other minority and vulnerable groups in rural communities;
4. To promote the virtues of mutuality and tolerance, solidarity and talents building through skilled training with special focus on vulnerable and marginalized groups like women and children especially those in remote villages so as to put a smile on their faces;
5. To encourage the well being of abandoned and single parent children, and vulnerable children by directing and supporting them in their academic, vocational career with emphasis on those that can ensure their economic strength;
6. To provide a forum where the less privileged especially orphans, persons living with disabilities and other vulnerable children can be assessed and given due attention in the domain of health, education and nutritional needs;
7. To promote community health care as well as health programs through sensitization of the population on healthy feeding habits, and the practice of hygiene and sanitation.
